I am trying, slowly, slowly to create some order to my bloggery. That means where I am focussed on specific single issues, like sexuality, or transport, or identity, there will, in future be a blog for each and I will try to keep the overlap to a minimum.
At the same time, that means more scope for my personal blog to get back to being…well, personal. And therefore to give a puff, from time to time, to events, people, businesses that feel worthy of being puffed.
Step forward Emma, creator of the Butch Institute which, despite its slightly off-centre title, is in fact a small scale producer of jams, jellies, preserves, chutneys and relishes of distinction, made from locally picked fruit.
Very nice they are too: and definitely deserving of more than a little puffery.
And that, I think, is about all that needs to be said. For the proof is very much in the eating, and i am currently eating my way through a couple of jars of Butch product! The raspberry – and the blueberry.
Oh. Except to add that you can order Butch jams direct from the Butch Institute website: or that you can pick up your favourite preserve, sometimes at a markdown, from Emma when she brings her jams to alternative Fairs, hosted ofttimes by Wotever World and the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
